1st Degree Black belt under Queixinho Moizinho

Started training JJ in 2008 under Professor John Crouch> Royce Gracie> Helio Gracie at the MMA LAB, where he learned much of the basics.  In 2014 as a purple belt, he left the LAB and followed a good friend and black belt instructor Santino Defranco to Siege MMA, and in 2015 he began teaching regular JJ classes.  In 2016 he was awarded his brown and eventually black belt under Santino>Giva Santana in 2019.  At the end of 2021 Professor Nolan left Siege to start a new academy with one of his top students and Pinnacle BJJ was born.  

Interests/Hobbies; Professor Nolan has always had a passion to share the art of Jiu Jitsu with the people who need it most ( military and first responders suffering from PTSD) and that lead him to start helping veterans who were disabled due to military service.  After having done this on his own for a few years he eventually teamed up with a fledgling organization called We Defy Foundation, whom were founded by disabled Vets and  specialize in helping Vets with combat related disabilities through the art of Jiu Jitsu.  

Professor Nolan is married to his beautiful wife Tracy and together they have a blended family of 7 kids.
